The Gothia Cup Cancún is an all-new experience, combining youth football from a world-class organiser with one of the best tourist destinations in the world.
Scheduled January 3-8, 2024 — the Gothia Cup, Cancun is an international youth football tournament for girls and boys between 11-18 years old. The tournament promises an extraordinary experience and features teams from not only the host nation, Mexico, but also from other international countries such as Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, South Africa, and the United States.

All participants will stay at the Grand Oasis hotel in Cancún. The hotel is all inclusive (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and Gothia Card is included in the accommodation cost. Up to four persons can stay in each room.
Transfers
Return transfer between the Cancún airport and the Grand Oasis Hotel is included for everyone who has booked the hotel trough World Youth Tournament. All transfers must be booked in advance.
Who may participate?
Participating teams must belong to a club or academy that is registered with its national FIFA affiliated association. School teams from countries where they can participate in official football competitions of the national football association and are registered with the national school association are also allowed to participate. All players must be registered with the club they are playing for.
The tournament begins with a group play. Teams are divided into groups of four or five teams, where all teams are playing each other once. The first and second team of the group qualify for play-off A, other teams in the group qualify for play-off B. The tournament is played under all applicable FIFA rules.

B18 - Boys born 1/1-06 or later (11-a-side)
B16 - Boys born 1/1-08 or later (11-a-side)
B14 - Boys born 1/1-10 or later (11-a-side)
B12 - Boys born 1/1-12 or later (7-a-side)
B11 - Boys born 1/1-13 or later (7-a-side)
Age Groups Girls
G16 - Girls born 1/1-08 or later (11-a-side)
G14 - Girls born 1/1-10 or later (11-a-side)
