Welcome
to the International tournament " Spiagge d'Abruzzo Cup"
reserved exclusively for youth team categories.
Since
the first tournaments in 1997, with the name "City of Roseto
Cup" this tournament has had remarkable success. Some important
factors have contributed to this success:
The
friendly and not competitive nature, and the possibility to stay
in one of the most beautiful areas of the Adriatic coast.
The next edition will be held from 27 April to 1 May 2007 with
about 4.000 young soccer players divided into 120 teams. Previous
editions have included teams from the following countries: Australia,
United States, Canada, and South America in addition to: Germany,
England, Poland, Romania, Belgium, Russia, Slovenia. The other
teams come from all regions of Italy.

A total 292 games will be played in 14 grass pitches and 6 smaller
ones.
The tournament is regulated by UEFA and FIFA. The sponsors are
the Abruzzi Region and the Province of Teramp. Further the town
councils of Roseto, Montesilvano, Notaresco, Castel-lalto, Mosciano,
Tortoreto, Alba , Giulianova, Silvi, Pineto, Morrodoro and altri
have all participated, making possible the success of an event
that is unique in Italy.
